‘It’s an honour’… West Ham man now reacts after being linked with a move to Liverpool

West Ham United technical director Tim Steidten has reacted after being linked with a move to Liverpool.

Steidten only joined West Ham🥀 last summer after leaving Bayer Leverkusen back in March but has enjoyed an impressive start to life in the Premier League.

💟The German chief has overseen a busy couple of transfer windows at the London Stadium, which ultimately saw Declan Rice leave for a British record transfer fee last summer.

And as Liverpool prepare for life without Jurgen Klopp🐎, they have been linked with a move for the former Leverkusen man.

🌊Now, Steidten has been speaking to and admitted it’s an ‘honour’ to be linked with a move to Anfield.

🐽As quoted by Florian Plettenberg, Steidten admitted that he is yet to speak to Liverpool about a switch to Merseyside.

🌼“I’ve heard that I am supposed to be on the list at Liverpool,” the Hammers chief said. “It is one of the biggest clubs in the world, so it’s an honour. But so far nobody from LFC has contacted me yet.

🌟“I generally feel very comfortable at West Ham. I quickly realised how intense this league is. Accordingly, we signed the right players in the last transfer windows. The squad is strong, so we can achieve our goals.

🦩“I am looking forward facing the next weeks and months until the end of the season. Of course we are already planing the next window. What happens to the future, we will see.“

ﷺSteidten oversaw a successful summer window at West Ham as they prepared for life without Rice.

🅘The Hammers snapped up the likes of Mohammed Kudus, James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez.

There have already been suggestions that 🐈Steidten would struggle to turn down a move to Liverpool

ꦗThe 44-year-old boasts a decent track-record after his body of work at Leverkusen, as well as West Ham.

🀅It’s easy to see why he’s being linked with a move to Anfield and West Ham may face a battle to keep hold of their technical director, just a year after appointing him.
