‘It’s amazing’… Ben White left stunned after what £60m Arsenal player has done recently

Ben White has admitted he’s been amazed by Kai Havertz’s recent form for Arsenal.

Speaking to Arsenal’s official after last night’s 4-3 win over Luton, the defender singled out Kai Havertz for praise. 

Havertz has hit a decent patch of form over the past couple of weeks following a difficult start to his Arsenal career.

The 24-year-old was snapped from Chelsea for a fee worth over the summer but was struggling to find his feet under Mikel Arteta during the early stages of the campaign. 

Yet, he’s netted three goals in his last four appearances for the Gunners in all competitions.

His latest effort came at Luton last night as his goal got Arsenal back on level terms in the second half. And Ben White says he’s delighted for the German after a recent upturn in form.

White stunned by Havertz’s recent Arsenal displays

Speaking to Arsenal’s media team after last night’s win, White was asked about Havertz’s recent displays.

“It’s amazing, such a nice guy and deserves everything he is getting,” the full-back said.

It’s fair to say that Havertz has received his fair share of criticism this season. But the German international is just beginning to justify why Arsenal spent big to land him over the summer. 

His attitude behind the scenes has never been in question, with the midfielder making quite the impression on Arsenal insiders due to his desire to improve.

Yet, it was difficult to see where he would fit into this current Arsenal side as he never seemed like the right fit for a place in Arteta’s midfield.

Havertz was renowned for his late runs into the box and goalscoring abilities during his time at Bayer Leverkusen. He seems to have rediscovered that knack recently and Arsenal will be hopeful this kickstarts his season.
