‘It’ll be quite interesting’… Alasdair Gold says Daniel Levy now has a big plan for Tottenham
Journalist Alasdair Gold has now been lifting the lid on some plans that Daniel Levy is working on for Tottenham Hotspur behind the scenes.
The Tottenham chairman has already built a very productive relationship with Ange Postecoglou at Spurs, and there’s a lot of reasons to be optimistic as a fan right now.

The club are said to be in a strong financial position and it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise if they had some lofty transfer targets for the summer.
In fact, Fabrizio Romano has now detailed one move that is being considered internally.
That being said, it seems that Levy is continuing to try and put in place a structure for long-term success at Tottenham, as Gold has explained.
Speaking on the ‘’ podcast, the journalist shared that Levy has been trying to agree a strategic partnership with Swedish side Djurgarden.
Lucas Bergvall is of course signing from Djurgarden, and it seems as if Levy has spotted an opportunity as a result.
Alasdair Gold says Daniel Levy hosted Djurgarden staff at Tottenham’s win over Palace
Speaking on the podcast, Gold explained the possible benefits a partnership could bring if agreed.
He said: “I mentioned about the special guest [against Crystal Palace], it was the sporting director at Djurgarden, Bosse Andersson.
“He was there as Daniel Levy’s special guest with a few other people, I think from Djurgarden in the chairman’s suite.
“They’re trying to put together a more formal partnership, Spurs and Djurgarden moving forward, where I guess an exchange of ideas, potentially young players going in both directions.

“It’ll be quite interesting as well because obviously the Swedish league, they play during the summer and things like that, you can kind of send a player there.
“I remember Alfie Whiteman went there, the Swedish league, and he kind of played from, I think it’s April the actual league season.”
Working his magic
As Alasdair Gold explains, Daniel Levy could be brokering a really clever opportunity for Tottenham.
Perhaps the likes of Aaron Maguire or Yago Santiago for example could go an play senior football for a short period, better preparing themselves for any first team opportunities at Spurs.
And similarly, the club would also be very well positioned to sign the best Swedish talent.
All that being said, one Tottenham player has now been talking about just how happy he is at the club after signing this season.
