‘Italian Ward-Prowse’: Liverpool fans react to links with Roma star Lorenzo Pellegrini
Liverpool fans have been offering their thoughts on social media over the last 24 hours as reports emerged linking them with Roma midfielder, Lorenzo Pellegrini.
reports that Pellegrini could be sold by Roma this summer. That is, if he doesn’t put pen to paper on a new contract.
Pellegrini’s current deal with Roma is set to expire in 2022. The Italian club are keen for the current skipper sign fresh terms but as yet, the 24-year-old has yet to sign on the dotted line.
Liverpool, then, could look to make their move as they seek a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum in the middle of the park. The Dutchman is expected to leave this summer after failing to agree a new contract himself.
