Atalanta news hands Tottenham advantage
The news surrounding Atalanta hands Tottenham an advantage in the race to sign Tomiyasu.
Despite interest from their north London rivals, the Lilywhites have the advantage of European football. Spurs qualified for the Europa Conference League on the final day of the campaign ahead of their rivals.
And having agreed personal terms, it seems as though the player sees his future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The signing would be a coup for Spurs given the defender’s versatility. As well as being able to play right-back, Tomiyasu can also play on the right of a back-three.
Atalanta’s loss will be Spurs’ gain as the club look to complete a deal for the Asian ace.
