And as a result of that interest, Veliz is still a name on their list for January, with a loan move now being pitched as an option.
If those are to be believed, it’ll certainly be interesting to see how Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham respond.
Spurs’ squad is now being stretched thinly as a result of injuries and suspensions, however, it doesn’t seem that Veliz is on the cusp of serious minutes.
Whilst the striker is now making strides with the Premier League 2 side, he may need to make a lot more progress before he’s challenging the likes of Son Heung-Min.
Therefore, there may be a temptation for Tottenham to allow Veliz to go and explore the opportunity of senior minutes
Bologna are now interested in loaning Veliz from Tottenham in January

Tottenham are thought to be long-term admirers of Marc Guehi at Crystal Palace, but the club are very reluctant to lose their star in January.
One deal that may be more feasible is a move for Everton’s Ben Godfrey.
Spurs are said to be interested in the centre-back who has now fallen down the pecking order under Sean Dyche.
However, given Godfrey was previously in the England squad and bustling with potential, it could prove a smart move.
There’s clearly a lot of moving pieces for Tottenham, and Bologna may hope that means ‘‘ Veliz can be released on loan.
But ultimately only Daniel Levy and Postecoglou will know just how they intend to approach a window that looks increasingly crucial.
