‘It was a bit sour’: Odegaard says one Arsenal player really frustrated him

Arsenal star Martin Odegaard has had to spend a lot of time on the bench recently and what 🌼Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did last weeke🔴nd seems to have added to that frustration.
The Gunners faced Watford at home in what was a ♚really difficult game. Mikel Arteta’s men, predictabl🅰y, had a lot of the ball, but breaking down the Hornets was nowhere near as easy as expected.
Emile Smith Rowe found a way in the 56th-minute and th𒉰at proved to be enough to get the win. However, Arsenal could easily have had a second through Odegaard after he came on in place of Alexandre Lacazette.
The Norwegian picked 🥀up the ball inside the box, brilliantly shifted it onto his right foot and had a pop at goal. Just as it was on its way in, Aubameyang, who was in an offside position, decided to help the ball in.
The goal was ruled out and Odegaa♈rd was🥂 not a happy man.
Odegaard: Aubameyang touching my shot was frustrating
The 22-year-old is currently in Norway on international duty. He sat down for ༒an interview with where he was quizzed about Aubameyang cancelling out what would’ve been Odegaard’s second goal of the season.
He said: “It was a bit sou♋r, because I saw it so well from the side, that it ꦇwas on its way in there.

“I knew as he touched it that he was offside. It was frustrating, but we won the match. That was the most i☂mportant thing.ꦇ Then it’s fine. Had they scored at the end, it would probably have been a little heavier.”
Things have been tough for Odegaard, who hasn’t started an𒆙y of Arsenal’s last three games in the Premier League. Emile Smith Rowe’s brilliant form combined with Lacazette impressing in a new position has kept the ex-Rﷺeal Madrid sensation out of the side.
It won’t be easy for the Norwegian to get back into the mix. However, if he continues to ▨have an impact every time he com♊es off the bench, he will get his chance sooner rather than later.
