Jamie O’Hara says £50m Arsenal player now has a big ‘problem’ to deal with in England
Arsenal might be looking to make waves in the transfer market this summer but Jamie O’Hara has had some choice words for one current player.
O’Hara – who we all know is a Spurs fan – never misses a chance to have a dig at Arsenal if he can and he’s found reason to once more.
This time though, it’s nothing to do with how they’re playing and who they might be signing.
More so, O’Hara is unhappy at hearing reports of defender
Of course, White had a fallout with Gareth Southgate and Steve Holland previously and stood down from selection.
But after suggestions he could now come back with Southgate gone, TalkSPORT pundit O’Hara has appeared to be having none of it.
Jamie O’Hara questions Ben White amid talk of an England return
Speaking on about the situation with Ben White and England, former Spurs man Jamie O’Hara didn’t hold back when suggesting what the England players might now be thinking.
“The problem that he has got as well is the players. It’s the same group of players that he walked out on, didn’t want to be involved, said that he didn’t want to be in the tournament and then all of a sudden, he wants to come back,” O’Hara commented.

“If you are John Stones and you are Guehi and you are playing alongside him, or Harry Kane who is the captain, could say, hold on a minute.
“You didn’t want to be a part of this, you didn’t want to be here, you know, we respected the manager and we were fighting for the manager, but you didn’t fancy it, and now he is gone and all of a sudden, you want to rock up again and go, yeah, actually yeah, I will fancy that again.
“I think I might play because Kyle Walker might be on his way out, I might get more of a chance. It doesn’t work like that.”
Quite who the new England manager is going to be, remains to be seen.
However, O’Hara does make an insightful point here and if White is to return, he might well have some explaining to do when it comes to the players.
Of course, White is good enough to play for England and it’s a shame he’s missed so many opportunities to win caps.
White, then, is on rocky ground if he does indeed decide to come out of his self-induced exile.
