‘Irreplaceable’, ‘still have to pinch myself’: Some Wolves fans in awe of player’s masterclass yesterday

A number of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been commenting on Twitter about their side’s win at Molineux on Wednesday evening and Joao Moutinho’s exploits were once again praised.

Wolves’ 1-0 triumph over Bournemouth means Nuno Espirito Santo’s charges are now unbeaten in seven Premier League games, dating back to the match against Liverpool at Molineux on January 23.

The relegation-threatened Cherries proved stern opposition for Wolves, but the hosts got the job done thanks to Raul Jimenez’s header on the hour, thumped home following a pinpoint Adama Traore cross.

Moutinho was once again at his consistent, stellar and vocal best as he whipped in several pinpoint free kicks for his teammates, and controlled the game’s tempo in the second half as Wolves sought to protect their lead.

The 33-year-old wizard is showing no signs of slowing down, having picked up from where he left off in wake of English football’s suspension in March, and once again he delighted the Old Gold faithful following at home.
