Ipswich fans react to Spurs loanee Troy Parrott’s debut display
A number of Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Troy Parrott’s display as the Tottenham Hotspur loanee made his debut for the Tractor Boys on Saturday.
Parrott’s inclusion handed Paul Lambert’s men a much-needed boost. They went into their clash with Blackpool having won just two of their previous seven games. Both of those victories came against bottoꦗm side Burton Albion.

But they were much better against Blackpool. And many clearly felt that Parrott’s inclusion – alongside fellow debutant Luke Matheson – was cruci𓂃al in inspiring the side.
Ipswich won 2-0 at Portman Road. And, although Parrott did not score, the Spurs loanee impressed many before he was taken o🐻ff with 20 minutes remaining.

It has not been an easy season for Parrott so far. He had problems with injury and failed to find the back of the netꦯ during his loan at Millwall.
So his time in League One could potentially prove pivotal. The 19-year-old su𝕴rely needs to get scoring if he hopes to catch Jose Mourinho’s eye ahead of next season.
He is yet to ope♛n his ♌account after one game. But there were certainly plenty of positive signs for the youngster.
So with that in mind, here is what some of the Ipswich fans made of the Tottenham man’sᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ debut…
Troy Parrott’s work rate was amazing today

Encouraging signs, but we need to back it up with a co♊mplete performance against Peterborough to stand a chance of getting a result. As well as Parrott and Matheson did today, every player needs to play their best, can’t🀅 rely on two deadline day loans to save our season.

Very good debuts for Matheson and Parrott෴, Downes the best player on the pitch by a mile. Looked so much livelier going forward than normal, just hope we keep it that way

Actually a decent game and enjoy꧟ed watching it. Happy for Woolf to get a goal and impressed with Parrott, nice to see the new signings. Was an improvement. Hopefully we can carry this onto the next game, we must build on this
