Crystal Palace have enjoyed a relatively quiet transfer window to date when compared to other Premier League clubs, such as big-spending Fulham and Wolves.
However, deadline day could provide some late drama for the Eagles as they look to bolster their squad and add to the signings of Cheikhou Kouyate and Max Meyer.
Here are four potential deadline day ins and outs that could occur at Selhurst Park.
Jordan Ayew from Swansea City
The claimed that Crystal Palace, along with Fulham, were interested in acquiring the Swansea City attacker from the recently-relegated club.
Ayew has reportedly refused to train in light of a proposed move away from the Liberty Stadium, and Palace will be confident they can lure the Swans’ top-scorer in 2017/18 to south London.
A bright attacking talent who can play as a striker, winger, or central midfielder, Ayew would be an impressive pickup for the Eagles.
Yannick Bolasie from Everton
The former Crystal Palace winger has been told he is free to leave Everton by new manager Marco Silva, opening up the door for a possible return to Selhurst Park, reported.
A massively popular figure in SE25, Bolasie would be welcomed back at the club and would add ingenity and inventiveness into Roy Hodgson’s attack.
Divock Origi from Liverpool
Reports in have linked the Belgian striker with a shock £18 million move to Crystal Palace.
Origi was sent out on loan last season by the Reds, and could find success with fellow ex-Liverpool forward Christian Benteke at Selhurst Park.
The 23-year-old has bags of potential and a long career ahead of him, and could kickstart his career with a move to the Eagles.
Departure: Sullay Kaikai to a Championship club on loan
Sullay Kaikai has been on loan five times during his Crystal Palace career, and the 22-year-old seems set to head out from Selhurst Park again this year.
The left winger would be best served gaining crucial first team minutes away from the Eagles set-up, as it appears Hodgson does not have the Englishman in his plans for the upcoming season.
Hopefully Kaikai can enjoy a more productive loan than his latest spell at Charlton, where he played 15 times yet scored none and assisted just one goal.
