‘Incredible’ player Tottenham want to sign has just said farewell to his club

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a number of new midfield additions this summer.

Conor Gallagher has been named as a Tottenham target for a long time, and Fabrizio Romano has suggested that a free transfer could be on the cards next year.

While Tottenham could get Gallagher on a free next year, Spurs could actually sign another midfield target for absolutely nothing right now.

Indeed, Adrien Rabiot is a free agent after his departure from Juventus.

Juventus officially announced Rabiot’s departure a couple of weeks ago, but now, the player himself has taken to social media to bid farewell to the Italian giants.

Adrien Rabiot says goodbye to Juventus

Rabiot shared a post on bidding farewell to Juventus.

The midfielder said goodbye, with his caption reading:

“After 5 seasons at Juventus, 5 years in Turin, I want to say goodbye and thank you.

“All of you who have been there for me. The club and all its staff.

“And you fans, always close and very affectionate!

“Thanks for everything Juventus. Goodbye and good luck.”

Where Adrien Rabiot could go next

Adrien Rabiot is on the market as a free agent, and he wants to come to the Premier League.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Rabiot really wants to come to England. However, the journalist played down links to both Liverpool and Manchester United.

“Adrien Rabiot is waiting for the Premier League. He has some possibilities in other countries so keeping all the options open but he’s still waiting a few more days for Premier League clubs,” Romano said.

“Liverpool links? Liverpool and Rabiot, I am told Liverpool are not negotiating for Rabiot. Not interested, not working on a deal, so Liverpool, no,” Romano said.

“And then Manchester United, a lot of questions about Man United. But as of today I’m not aware of any advance in negotiations between United and Rabiot.”

Of course, it’s not just United and Liverpool who have been linked to the midfielder. Tottenham are also said to be keen on Rabiot, and given how often Spurs do sign former Juventus players, this is a deal that would make plenty of sense.

Rabiot needs a new club this summer, and Tottenham could be the perfect landing spot for the Frenchman.
