‘In talks’: West Ham make their move to sign ‘outstanding’ player Spurs enquired about last month – journalist
Crystal Palace and West Ham United are now in talks with Dwight McNeil in the wake of Burnley’s relegation from the Premier League.
claim that the London rivals are battling it out to sign the Englishman and bring him back to the top flight.
Last month, it was reported that another London club in the shape of Tottenham Hotspur had also enquired about the wideman.
Newcastle are also said to be interested but it seems the Eagles and the Hammers are now leading the chase for McNeil.

West Ham talks with McNeil
The report read: “Crystal Palace and West Ham are both in talks with Burnley over winger Dwight McNeil.
“He is seen as a prime target because of his experience of top-flight football, as well as his age.
“McNeil is keen to return to the Premier League and considering a number of options. McNeil has two years remaining on his deal and the club have an option to extend it for a further year.
“They would demand a fee in excess of £15 million and are in a strong bargaining position despite their relegation.”

McNeil is a rare young English talent who may well have actually been underhyped because of the club he played for.
Sean Dyche called him ‘‘ and perhaps a summer move would see him show more people just how good he is.
It is promising for any potential suitors than Burnley are already resigned to the exit of McNeil in the weeks ahead, according to a recent report.
