‘In 24 hours’: Fabrizio Romano has transfer update for Everton fans
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Everton midfielder Dele Alli is heading to Istanbul to undergo a medical with Besiktas.
The Toffees playmaker has struggled at Goodison Park since joining from Tottenham in the January transfer window.
Alli made just 11 appearances for Everton last season, clocking up a mere 329 minutes on the pitch.

And this term, the 26-year-old has made just two substitute appearances, with 38 minutes under his belt.
Alli was left out of the matchday squad to face Fleetwood in the Carabao Cup.
“He’s very advanced to moving to Besiktas,” Lampard told the after the 1-0 win.
“It’s not absolutely done yet but it’s very advanced.”
Now, Romano has taken to Twitter with a further update on Alli’s future.
The transfer insider claimed Alli is set to head to Turkey for his medical ahead of his loan move.
There is also a buy option clause, but the clubs are still discussing the value.
“If all goes as planned, Dele will undergo medical in 24 hours,” added Romano.
Besiktas came sixth in the Turkish Super Lig last year, their lowest finish since 1998.
They have turned to Premier League players in a bid to quickly return to glory.
West Ham’s Arthur Masuaku and Burnley’s Wout Weghorst have already joined on loan.
Now, it looks as though Alli could be next – can he rekindle his career at Vodafone Park?
