‘Complete’ player reportedly in advanced Arsenal talks has now hinted at potential January move
Arsenal have been heavily linked with Palmeiras midfielder Danilo in recent months.

Now, Danilo has given Arsenal’s hopes of getting the deal over the line a major boost.
The player, speaking to (as translated by ) says he now feels ready to play in a big European league.
When discussing the next step in his career, the outlet mention the past interest from Arsenal.
The Gunners are ‘often cited as a possible destination’ for the midfielder.
“I see myself mature enough to be able to play in any competition in the world,” said Danilo. “I’m ready.
“Palmeiras helped me a lot, from the off, with [director] Joao Paulo [Sampaio].
“And I kept my mentality strong with the arrival of Abel.
“I prefer not to get involved with these transfer issues.
“I told my agent to only talk to me if it’s the right thing.
“Then we sit down and talk to Palmeiras and decide what’s best for everyone.”
So while Danilo isn’t actively looking for a move away, he’s certainly suggesting he could do a good job elsewhere.

Back in April, Dudu – Danilo’s Palmeiras teammate – urged him to join a club like Arsenal in the near future.
“He is a star, he has to play in the Premier League,” Danilo’s teammate Dudu told ESPN, via .
“I always tell him: ‘You have to play for Manchester United, or Arsenal.
“He has to stay calm, he is a kid who gives his all, but I tell him: ‘You are a player for Chelsea, those kind of teams’.
“He scores, he gets in the area, he helps with marking. He’s a complete midfielder in Brazilian football.”
