‘I’m not one to get excited but…’: Some Leeds fans react to U23s omission ahead of Wolves clash
A number of Leeds United fans are predicting that Cody Drameh will be in the Whites matchday squad for Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Wolves.
The Leeds academy defender wasn’t in Mark Jackson’s Under-23s squad for Friday’s Premier League 2 meeting with Brighton.
In addition, Drameh played at left-back for Leeds’ U23s on Monday evening – he normally features at right-back.
Junior Firpo is still out for another two games, according to Bielsa, while Stuart Dallas is most likely to start at left-back against Wolves.
Here is what some Leeds fans made of Drameh’s absence from the U23s squad:
No drameh or geldhart is interesting…

Drameh came through the ranks at Fulham before joining the Thorp Arch setup in 2020.
To date, the 19-year-old has made 32 appearances for Leeds’ U23s, and has made a couple of senior matchday squad.
Drameh is still awaiting his senior debut, however.

Drameh, Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Cresswell, Sam Greenwood, Stuart McKinstry, Leo Hjelde and Crysencio Summerville have seen their U23s minutes managed this season in case they need to supplement the senior squad.
Leeds have been struggling their season, with just one Premier League win to their name.
