‘I’m not happy’; ‘big mistake’: These Chelsea fans bemoan Ola Aina’s departure
🍒 that Ola Aina is making a permanent switch to Torino, after the Serie A club exercised their purchase option following the right-back’s impressive loan stint.
The 22-year-old has flourished in Italy, and established himself in Torino’s starting XI last season. He can now look forward to plenty more game time next season. Had he returned to Stamford Bridge this summer, he would likely have found himself back on the bench.
🔯This was the right move for the Nigeria international to make, but the Blues may soon find themselves ruing the talented defender’s departure. Aina has the potential to become a top player, and with Davide Zappacosta having struggled to establish himself in English football, he could have provided worthy competition for Cesar Azpilicueta’s starting berth.

♍If Aina goes on to fulfil his significant potential with Torino then this deal will be looked back upon as a bargain for the Italian outfit. Lots of Chelsea fans certainly seem to share these concerns.
Following the announcement of the deal, plenty of Blues supporters took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction.
ꦦAnother silly decision by board. You buy Zapa for around €25mil and sell Ola for 10mil. Well done Chelsea. Smh
