‘I’m not happy’…Agent of £27m Tottenham player is kicking up a big fuss over off-field problem
Radu Dragusin might have only been in England around a month but it’s already clear his agent will have a lot to say on matters.
Dragusin’s agent, Florin Manea, was vocal all January about his client moving on from Genoa before he eventually got his man a move to Tottenham.
At the time, Manea suggested all clubs in Europe wanted Dragusin, including Arsenal. In the end, they settled on Tottenham and he’s so far been an immediate part of Ange Postecoglou’s match-day squads.
However, when it comes to off-field matters, Manea is at it again and is now complaining about the commercial deals being offered to Dragusin by major sporting brands.

In quotes relayed by , Manea has bemoaned an apparent lack of cash on offer from the likes of Nike and Adidas in a bizarre rant.
“We’re already talking to a lot of people. We have a written offer from Nike. I’m in negotiations with them. From Nike and from Adidas. We are seeing. They have to put out a little bit more if they want to… Less than a million a year. They don’t give that much money. There are others… Gillette, other companies that give,” Manea .
“Nike, Adidas and Puma. That’s it. You can get money from them. So of those three, it’s a shampoo company (that’s giving the most). I’m not happy with the offer (from Adidas). They need to put their hand in their pocket. We might see him with Adidas if they don’t dig deeper in their pocket.”
One to watch for Postecoglou
While Ange won’t get involved in what is effectively nonsense like this, he will be keeping a close tab on the company his players keep.
Clearly, Manea has a lot to say for himself and after earning a few quid on the Dragusin deal, he’s now wanting even more the for the defender – and himself.
This is something for Tottenham as a club to just keep an eye and ear on really. Down the line, there could be something the club needs to deal with when it comes to Dragusin and it looks like his agent is someone who won’t go away quietly.
