‘I’m crying’: Some West Ham fans discuss ‘special’ footage of Moyes after 2-0 win last night

Clearly, it’s taken a while for the Hammers fanbase to warm to another boss.

In fairness, the likes of Sam Allardyce and Manuel Pellegrini didn’t really do enough to become admired by the fans – far from it.

If anyone deserves the chant right now, it’s Moyes. He looks genuinely touched about the love he’s receiving, judging by the footage.

What has David Moyes done to West Ham?

In a relatively short time, Moyes has completely transformed West Ham.

The east Londoners have gone from a side worrying about relegation, to a team who make Europa League games look easy.

Last night, it seemed as if the Hammers had been playing in Europe for decades – it was a truly professional display in Croatia.

Just look around the side. Kurt Zouma has been signed, as have Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal, while the likes of Said Benrahma and Nikola Vlasic have been smart additions.

The Scot is getting it right on and off the pitch.

Also, whatever Moyes has done to Michail Antonio needs to be explained – he’s arguably the most in-form player across Europe right now.

The 31-year-old has goals and assists in games this season.
