‘I’d love him’… Jamie O’Hara thinks 11-goal striker would be the ‘perfect’ signing for Tottenham
Jamie O’Hara has admitted he would love Tottenham Hotspur to snap up Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke.
Speaking on this morning, the former Tottenham midfielder claimed the Bournemouth forward would be ‘perfect’ for his old side.
Ange Postecoglou is widely expected to target a new centre-back in January following Micky van de Ven’s recent absence due to injury.
But Tottenham continue to be linked with a move for a new forward player and Dominic Solanke is the latest name to be thrown into the mix.

Indeed, claimed just yesterday that Spurs are weighing up a January move for Solanke.
The Cherries star has netted 11 goals in the Premier League this term and has already been linked with a move to Arsenal.
And while Jamie O’Hara feels Bournemouth won’t entertain any interest in their talisman next month, he’s admitted he’d love to see Solanke at Tottenham.
O’Hara thinks Solanke would be ‘perfect’ for Tottenham
“I just don’t see how Bournemouth can let him go,” O’Hara said. “They were tipped to go down this season and then all of a sudden, they’ve found some great form and are playing well.
“Look, at the end of the season, if someone comes in for £80 to £90 million, then we’ll let you go and we can rebuild from there with a couple of decent players they can buy.
“But I can’t see how they’d let him go. I’d love him to be at Tottenham. I look at him and think he’s perfect for how we want to play.”

Tottenham are well-stocked in the attacking department for the time being, with Richarlison enjoying a decent run of form recently.
Indeed, the Brazil star has netted four goals in his last three league games since coming back into the side.
Heung-Min Son has also bagged 11 goals and has shown no signs of slowing down since moving out to the left-hand side upon Richarlison’s return.
Yet, Spurs may be tempted to add a new striker to their ranks over the coming transfer windows. It’s no secret they are yet to bring in an out-and-out striker since Harry Kane’s departure over the summer.
Solanke would certainly be an intriguing option and the 26-year-old has excelled on the south coast this term.
But it’s difficult to see Tottenham going all out for a player like Solanke next month, especially when they have more pressing concerns at centre-back.
