‘I’d be stunned’: Journalist suggests Arsenal will sell 27-year-old for around £8m, no chance they get £15m
Journalist Charles Watts has suggested that Hector Bellerin has played his last ever game for Arsenal, speaking on his channel.
Arsenal will sell Bellerin for £8m, and it looks most likely that he will sign for Real Betis – the club he is currently on loan at – permanently when the summer transfer window.
Watts has dismissed suggestions he has heard that Bellerin could fetch £15 million, because he will have just one year left on his contract.
It has been reported that Bellerin is willing to take a permanent wage cut to get his move away and he is loving life at Betis.

Arsenal will sell Bellerin for £8m
“I’ve been speaking to people close to Bellerin about this and my understanding of the situation is that Bellerin will not be coming back to Arsenal,” he said.
“I know Mikel Arteta was asked about this last week at the press conference and said he’s a player contracted to Arsenal, so we’ll prepare for him to come back. If all the moves break down, he’ll have to come back but my understanding is that everyone is working towards the idea that Bellerin will leave permanently this summer.
“The first option is Real Betis. They are happy with him and want to keep him. They believe they can make the move permanent. They’ve got themselves European football next season so they do have some money, and they don’t believe it will cost an astronomical amount of money to tempt Arsenal into selling.
“I’ve seen quoted £15 million for Hector Bellerin, I’d be stunned if they got that. I’d think it would be between 5-10 million euros (£4.2 – £8.4 million) potentially. He’ll have to take a wage cut but that won’t be an issue, he had to take a wage cut to get the loan deal through and he will likely do that again to pull down the curtain on his Arsenal career.
“I think that will be a move which will be done in the summer.”

It seems that Bellerin has reached the natural end of his Arsenal career despite having a good relationship with Mikel Arteta.
He seems reinvigorated by the move back to Spain, having lost his way at Arsenal following his serious injury problems.
If Arsenal can raise a bit of cash for Arteta to get his own players through the door, that is better than him leaving for nothing in 12 months time.
