Ian Wright says Ivan Perisic is going to be amazing for Tottenham
Ian Wright has told that Ivan Perisic is going to be an amazing player for Tottenham Hotspur following his full debut for the club at the weekend.
Perisic has been the one summer signing to really break into Antonio Conte’s plans so far this term. The Croatia international featured in both of the club’s opening two Premier League games.
And with Ryan Sessegnon enduring a tough time against Chelsea last time out, Conte decided to make a change for the clash with Wolves. And with that, Perisic was handed a first start.
Tottenham picked up another decent win. They were not at their best. But Harry Kane took his opportunity when the time came to ensure that they took the three points.
And Perisic seemed to be outstanding. The 33-year-old made a real impact on the game, and produced some glimpses of magic that highlighted what a coup it was to bring him in.
Certainly, Wright believes that he is going to be an inspired signing for Tottenham.
“Perisic, what I saw, he looked very good. He’s going to be amazing, because he’s an amazing player,” he told .

Spurs signing Perisic is surely one of the most underrated deals done anywhere in the Premier League this summer. He has won league titles with three clubs, and lifted the Champions League with Bayern Munich. He was also part of the Croatia side who reached the 2018 World Cup final.
It appears that he is the ideal mentor for Ryan Sessegnon. And clearly, he still has more than enough quality to make an impact out on the pitch.
