Ian Wright makes bold prediction about Ademola Lookman before facing Arsenal in Champions League

In between Arsenal’s tricky Premier League away trips to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, there’s also a difficult tie to navigate against Atalanta on Thursday.

Arsenal travel to Italy in the Champions League, playing on a day which they’d proba🌄bly thought they’d left behind after returning to Europe’s elite competition.

Either way, Mikel Arteta and his side will be facing Ademola Lookman and co in their first contine⛄ntal test of the sea💎son.

Interestingly, Arsenal were linked with a move for Lookman this summer – a player who is thriving in the Serie A after l🐬eaving English football.

Such has been his progress, a price tag of around £51m is now being 𝕴quoted for Lookman – who has more than one potential suitor.

Ian Wright thinks Arsenal linked Ademola Lookman will leave Atalanta soon

That being said, Ian Wright has nowꦰ been discussing𒁃 Lookman’s progress on the ‘’ podcast ahead of Thursday’s date with Arsenal.

Wright was amazed at how far Lookman had come since his days♍ at Charlton – a winger he thinks will move on from ཧAtalanta fairly soon.

Wright said: “Oh gosh, did you see his first assist with the way he just 🦂flicked it? So good🐭.

“It’s really be🐼autiful football, I’m so pleased for 🌱him. Yeah, he worries me.”

He continued: “But we’ve got Ben White on that side, if he’s going to be on that side. And you know what? I’m pleased f🤪or him.

“His journey, where he’s gone, what he’s doing now, you could see a big move, you could see a move for him.

“I’d love him to stay there, he’s been so good at Atalanta. The way he’s worked up, all the way fr💛om Charlton, all the way to where he is now.

“You’d believ♋e that Atalanta is not his final destination in his mind, as great as it can be for them.

🦋“And it’s not disrespectful, but like he’s got a level of playing now where you can see why people would say, I could, yeah I could use him.🌊”

Raheem Sterling ready to make his full Arsenal debut

Of course, after deciding against a move for Lookman this summer, Arsenal eꦐxecuted a bargain deal for Raheem🥀 Sterling.

𝕴The England international played his first minutes for the club ꧋in the win over Spurs, offering a brief glimpse of his talent.

Sterling could make his full A𝄹rsenal debut vs Atalan൲ta – Arteta is expected to make up to three changes for the second o🍸f three away tripsꩵ in seven days.

Arsenal’s title-pܫush perhaps fell short because they didn’t roܫtate sufficiently last season.

And with better strength in❀ depth this term, Arteta will need to trust all members of his squad to maintain Arsenal’s high standards.
