Ian Wright doesn’t want ‘sensational’ forward to leave, even though Arsenal reportedly want to sign him
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has lauded reported Gunners target Michael Olise on the latest .
Despite speculation linking the Crystal Palace ace with Arsenal, Wright – who also played for the Eagles – would like to see him stay put.
Last month, suggested Arsenal are keeping tabs on Olise ahead of the summer transfer window.

However, the Gunners are reportedly up against several other clubs from the Premier League and Europe.
As well as Arsenal, the likes of Chelsea, Everton, Bayern Munich and Lille are also eyeing the 20-year-old.
Palace pulled off a coup last summer by signing Olise from Reading for a reported £8million.
He has made 25 senior appearances this term, including 22 in the Premier League and 10 top-flight starts.
On Monday, Olise helped Palace record a 0-0 draw with Manchester City which blew the title race wide open.
Although the forward didn’t overly stand out in the game, he did pull off a bit of skill which went down well with fans.
Phil Foden went for a slide tackle on Olise in the D, but the Palace man rolled the ball past him and sent him to the shops.
“The defender was gone”
Wright spoke about the Eagles man’s skill on his podcast, praising his audacity and hoping he won’t leave the club.
“I thought yesterday Olise didn’t do as much as you want him to do,” said Wright.
“And you wouldn’t expect him to because Manchester City are going to keep the ball for a long period of time.
“But the touch that he done when the ball came across and he didn’t even control it.
The ball came straight over to him and he rolled it, the defender flew past him.
The defender was gone and I was just saying that’s all I need to see. He doesn’t need to do any more in this game and Pep will see that as well.

When you look at where he was and the calibre of player he’s playing against and then to have the audacity to do a skill like that.
“Absolutely [he’s going big].
Hopefully they’ll stay together. Wilfried Zaha, all of them stay together, he has to try and sign Conor Gallagher. He has to try and do something about that situation.
“Because if he bolts a couple more things on to Palace and they get ruthless, they are going to cause havoc in this league.”
“The type of player Mikel Arteta will like”
Earlier this month, Darren Bent backed Arsenal to make a move for Olise, thinking he’d be perfect for the Gunners.
“He is certainly the type of player Mikel Arteta will like,” Bent said on Sky Sports (12/3/22, 14:30).
“We know he likes young players and this kid has really impressed me.
“For large spells I thought it was just all about Wilfried Zaha and Eze. But at the moment he has himself into the team and been sensational.
“He can go past people, he has a nice range of passing, he can score a goal and his final delivery has been lovely. I think he is a top player.
“It makes sense – if you look at what Mikel Arteta has done in the transfer market at the start of the season, all the players were 24 or younger. [Olise] fits that kind of mould.”
