Ian Wright blown away by Wolves centre-forward Raul Jimenez
Ian Wright has waxed lyrical about the quality of Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Raul Jimenez and believes he’s the total package.
The 28-year-old has been on fire at Molineux this campaign in front of goal and appears to be going from strength to strength.
He’s played 36 games across all competitions this season, scoring 19 goals and supplying nine assists in return.
The Mexican goal machine has helped fire his team to the Europa League group stages and they also sit sixth in the Premier League table as it stands.
Jimenez scored twice at the weekend in the away win over in-form Southampton and he’s extremely underrated throughout the division.
Pundit Wright is so impressed by the Wolves senior striker this year and feels he’s got a bit of everything.
“He’s been an ever-present, he’s got everything. He has everything. Watching him the other day against Southampton and he literally was fantastic,”
“Now we are looking at a £60million/£70million striker in Jimenez. He’s a good goalscorer, very good goalscorer. He will probably score more goals.”

TBR’s View:
Jimenez has shown that he’s capable of scoring a variety of different goals and he’s also someone who links up play too in the final third for Wolves.
It would be very difficult for manager Nuno Espirito Santo to find a replacement in the transfer market for someone like him, as there aren’t many centre-forward that are so well balanced.
His relationship with right-winger Adama Traore is continuing to blossom and Wolves are on for another successful season with their eye-catching frontline.
