Ian Poveda mocks Leeds United team-mate Luke Ayling on Twitter after training ground nutmeg

Leeds United pair Ian Poveda and Luke Ayling have been engaged in some fairly playful patter on Twitter after the young winger took great pleasure in nutmegging the full-back during Leeds training this week. 

The moment appeared to be mid-Rondo, with the 20-year-old timing his touch perfectly to slide the ball between the legs of the unsuspecting Ayling, much to the enjoyment of the rest of the Leeds squad and the social media team. 

Poveda took great pleasure in rubbing salt in the wounds after the fact with a couple of tweets yesterday evening highlighting the incident and just what Ayling might need for Christmas, a pair of socks with a net attached. 

Ayling, ever game for a laugh, was clearly happy to play along. He responded on Twitter in good jest, clearly hoping to one day get his revenge on the youngster when the chance comes. 

The whole incident just demonstrates the good feeling currently emanating from the Leeds camp following a promising start to their first season back in the Premier League. 

Poveda, in particular, has been a surprise hit, regularly appearing from the bench and impressing with his directness, speed, and dribbling ability. 

Leeds fans will just hope the youngster starts dishing out those nutmegs to opposing full-backs in the weeks to come.
