Ian Holloway has praised Derby boss Phillip Cocu and stated that he deserves more time to get his reign on track.
As per the Holloway, who managed in the Premier League with Blackpool, has met Cocu and been very impressed with what he saw.
He : “I had the pleasure of speaking to him two weeks ago and what a magnificent man. The way he is and the philosophy he has got.
“He is a joy and I really hope he is given time. Having met the man, I would have died to have played for him. I watched a training session that he took and it was so professional it was unbelievable.”

TBR’s View – Cocu has the pedigree to get Derby up, he needs the time
Derby’s loan stars were a massive factor last season and it likely took the squad some time to recover from the blow of losing the play-off final last season.
Results and performances like the loss at Brentford are the kind that really ramp up the pressure on a manager but Cocu does have the pedigree to be the man who finally takes Derby up.
Sticking with Cocu is their best shot at getting up, even if it may take him a little longer to get his ideas across than the fans might have hoped.
