‘I would’ve loved it’… Daniel Farke says he would’ve really liked £2m man to play for him at Leeds

Daniel Farke has been lucky enough to work with some quality players at Leeds United.

He’s coached an England international in the shape of Patrick Bamford, a player in the shape of Georginio Rutter and one of the brightest young talents in Europe in the shape of Archie Gray.

However, there’s one player at Leeds that Farke hasn’t been able to actually work with, and speaking on the club’s , the German has noted just how much he regrets not being able to use one Leeds player.

The Leeds player Daniel Farke regrets not using

Stuart Dallas has retired from football, and, speaking on this video, Farke noted that he would’ve loved to have used the man in his team, but, sadly, that wasn’t possible.

“I have to say that although it was never possible for him (Dallas) to play for my team, I would’ve loved it, but again, I’m pretty grateful for the time,” Farke said.

Stuart Dallas would’ve been fantastic for Farke

It’s a long time ago now, but we mustn’t forget just how good Dallas had become for Leeds before his injury.

He was genuinely becoming one of the better midfielders in the Premier League at one point under Marcelo Bielsa, and he would’ve had the ability to tear the Championship to shreds in this Leeds team.

Sadly, Dallas hasn’t been able to play a part for Leeds, and now, he’s had to call it a day on his career after breaking his leg against Manchester City two years ago.

Regardless of how the last two years have gone, Dallas will undoubtedly go down as a cult hero and a borderline legend at Leeds.

The Cookstown Cafu is a player Leeds fans won’t forget anytime soon, and it’s a massive shame he’s not been able to play in this team under Daniel Farke.
