‘I was surprised’: Klopp stunned by one thing that happened after Liverpool’s Carabao Cup win
Liverpool won the first major trophy of the domestic season on Sunday, lifting the Carabao Cup at Wembley.
The Reds played out a goalless draw with Chelsea before triumphing in a lengthy penalty shootout.
Liverpool converted all 11 of their penalties, while opposition goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga skied his effort.

Now, the Reds are looking ahead to another cup clash, hosting Norwich at Anfield in the FA Cup fifth round.
Ahead of Wednesday’s match, the Liverpool asked Klopp whether he had to limit his team’s celebrations after the final.
The Reds boss said this wasn’t the case, saying the celebrations were “not too much”.
However, Klopp also spoke of how long the post-match doping control took, and how it surprised him.
“We just waited for the plane, until we got on the bus everything was in time,” he said.
“The main problem we had was the doping control because that took obviously the longest time which I was surprised [about].
“You can only have that much time for doping control when your team is anti-alcoholic.
“Obviously the party was in the dressing room and then we were all on the bus.
“And then we were still waiting for Caoim, I think he was the last if I am right.
“Then we had loud music on the bus, no music on the plane, maybe some music in the cars and then we were home at 12.30.
“Then you cannot sleep, or at least I can’t, but we gave the boys the day off yesterday.
“Here we are again, training again and the celebrations were not too much.”
Liverpool won the League Cup for a record ninth time, and Sunday was their first triumph at Wembley in a decade.
Meanwhile, the Reds’ last FA Cup triumph was all the way back in 2006.
