‘I think’… Leandro Trossard names £16m teammate as toughest Arsenal player to dribble past in training
Leandro Trossard has named the Arsenal teammate who is the toughest player to get past on the training ground.
Arsenal are now a completely different animal to when Mikel Arteta took over as manager back in 2019. At the time, the Gunners were seemingly closer to mid-table than the title picture,ඣ or even the top four race.
Now however, Arsenal are very much in contention for the title. And what is so impressive about the current squad is the amount of de𓆏pth the Gunners now 🌠have.
Leandro Trossard names Takehiro Tomiyasu as toughest player to dribble past in training
Leandro Trossard is one of those who does not start week-in, w𝔍eek-out. But whenever the Belgian has come in, he has often stepped up for Arsenal.

Another player who probably does not get into the Gunners’ strongest lineup when everyone is available is Takehiro Tomiyasu. But the Japan int🌸ernational is another crucial 𒐪part of the squad.
And when asked by who the toughest player to dribble past in training𒈔 is, Trossard opted for th🦋e 25-year-old.
“I think Tomiyasu is a tough one,” he replied.
Arsenal have real depth right across the pitch
Tomiyasu is such a valuable player for Mikel Arteta to have in the ranks. Unfortunately, he has had to deal with a number of injury problems since his move from Bolognaᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ in 2021.
But he can play across the back line. In fact, it is somewhat difficult to pick out ꦺwhat exactly is his best role. He has played a lot of football at right-back, but he is also capable of featuring in that inverted role on the left.
Tomiyasu is unlikely to ever be the superstar who grabs many of the headlines. But having him pus꧒hing the likes of William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Ben White is so important as the Gunners look to clear that final hurdle.
And clearly, some of the attackers do not ♕always enjoy♒ coming up against the defender on the training ground.
