‘I miss him’, ‘come home’: Some Spurs fans think 26-year-old would’ve destroyed Mura
A number of Spurs fans have spoken highly about Carlos Vinicius, claiming he’d have helped Tottenham overcome Mura in the Europa Conference League last night.
Spurs signed Vinicius on loan from Benfica last season, and he made 22 appearances for Tottenham in 2020-21, scoring 10 goals.
Most of the 26-year-old’s goals for Spurs came in the Europa League.

He grabbed three against Wolfsberger, two against Ludogorets and one against Antwerp.
Vinicius also grabbed two assists against LASK and scored a hat-trick against Marine in the FA Cup.
Although the Brazilian only netted once in the Premier League – against Aston Villa – he barely got any game time in the competition.
Spurs opted against signing Vinicius permanently in the end, and he’s now on loan at PSV Eindhoven, who have an option to buy.
Vinicius was a good deputy for Kane and got plenty of goals against tricky opponents – something Spurs could’ve done with against Mura on Thursday.
Some Tottenham fans on Twitter admitted they missed him and wished he was still in their ranks:
