‘I know for a fact’… What Premier League manager has been privately saying about Manchester United

A Premier League manager has told an official at a rival club that Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are no longer a team to fear at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are in a terrible position now, aren’t they? Just days after suffering a humiliating defeat against Bournemouth at home, Manchester United crashed out of Europe after finishing bottom of their Champions League group. Ten Hag is under enormous pressure now.

What Premier League manager has been privately saying about Manchester United

Manchester United were once one of the scariest teams in the world to play against, especially at Old Trafford.

The 20-time league winners have always been strong at home, but under Erik ten Hag since the start of this season, Old Trafford is not a scary place to go to anymore.

Manchester United have lost seven games at home in all competitions this season. They’ve suffered defeats against the likes of Crystal Palace, Galatasaray and most recently, Bournemouth.

That’s not a good look at all, and journalist Sam Matterface has now shared what a Premier League manager has privately told an official at another club about Ten Hag’s side. United fans won’t like this.

Matterface said on : “I think there is a problem with the manager.

“Because I know for a fact that one Premier League manager has told another hierarchal person at a Premier League club that ‘you will have nothing to fear from going to Old Trafford.’”

Sacking Ten Hag would be a risky move for Manchester United

Manchester United take on Liverpool at Anfield this weekend, and almost everyone is expecting a real hammering not too dissimilar to last season’s 7-0.

If that happens, Ten Hag will be under more pressure than ever, and people will start calling for him to get sacked immediately.

Getting rid of the Dutchman would be an easy decision, but who’s even there for Manchester United to replace him with? Graham Potter has been linked this week, but as good as he is, we all saw how he fared at Chelsea.

Sacking Ten Hag without having an elite replacement lined up would be an extremely risky move by Manchester United, and the chances of that backfiring are huge.
