‘I just feel’… Gary Neville names three Arsenal players who will ‘cost’ them this season
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has claimed that Arsenal trio Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka are going to ‘cost’ Mikel Arteta this season.
The Gunners only managed a draw against Liverpool at Anfield yesterday. They looked much better than they did last season, but Neville feels their front three are just failing to combine with each other in the final third.

Gary Neville says Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus will ‘cost’ Arsenal
When they click, Arsenal have one of the most dangerous attacking trios in the Premier League in Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.
The Brazilian on the left is one of the most terrifying wingers in the country when he is in full flow, while Saka is arguably the best right-winger in the world at the moment alongside Mohamed Salah.
Jesus is absolutely incredible at what he does as well, but the Brazil international is not the type of striker who will guarantee 25 goals a season.
Neville, who compared Jesus to Wayne Rooney, had his say on the three players following the draw at Anfield yesterday, and he feels they will cost Arsenal this season if they don’t start combining.
He said on : “When we had Tevez, he would run around everywhere. Sometimes Rooney would disappear and he’d be out on the left wing, but you did have Cristiano Ronaldo up there who would be prolific and Rooney was prolific as well.
“I’m just thinking about the great front threes or great partnerships, but these three [Saka, Jesus and Martinelli], not even just in goals, they don’t combine a lot together within the game to play, and I just feel as though that’s going to cost them at some point.
“Definitely, Arsenal, I’ve found that there have been a lot of times during this season whereby that player running across the near post, across the centre-back, stepping across them to get in front to tap it in the back of the net or just get a little nick on it – they haven’t got that, they haven’t got a sniffer.”

A new striker could be a game-changer for Arsenal
The January transfer window is just over a week away, and many Arsenal fans want Mikel Arteta and Edu to sign a new striker.
The Gunners have a solid squad at the moment. Their defence and midfield are up there with the best in the Premier League, and as good as their attacking options are, they lack a natural goalscorer.
If Arsenal can bring in a striker next month who guarantees them 10 or 15 goals in the remainder of the season, it will be very difficult to stop them from winning the Premier League title.
However, whether the Gunners are prepared to spend some big money next month for a forward to take Gabriel Jesus‘ place remains to be seen.
