Alasdair Gold believes Tottenham Hotspur have no choice but to back Antonio Conte handsomely in the summer transfer window.
The football.london Spurs correspondent was speaking on his , his latest video coming out on Wednesday.
Conte has improved Tottenham massively since taking the N17 reins in November after Nuno Espirito Santo’s sacking.

With just four Premier League games remaining, Spurs are still in with a shout of finishing in the top four.

“Tottenham can’t afford to sit still”
Gold believes that the Italian will receive all the backing he needs at Tottenham this summer.
He reckons Spurs would seriously fall behind the other clubs in the Premier League’s top six if they don’t.
“My gut feeling is that I think he’ll stay,” said Gold ().
“And that is because I don’t think Tottenham have any choice but to back him because of what’s about to happen in the Premier League.
“You’ve got Liverpool and City, manager stability, they’re going to spend again, they’re going to continue to improve and progress.
“Chelsea, once they get their sale done, they’re going to have money.
“And they’re going to replace those players they’re losing because of that instability at the moment.
“Manchester United are going to throw money at trying to fix the problems, the mess they’re in, for Ten Hag to have as best a start as possible.
“And there’s Arsenal, they’ve got a few off their wage bill and they’re looking to spend in the summer.
“So Tottenham can’t afford to sit still, because if they do, that gap between the top four or five teams is going to be huge.”
