‘I can’t believe’: Jamie O’Hara says Tottenham should’ve signed 23-year-old World Cup star over Yves Bissouma
Jamie O’Hara has told that Tottenham Hotspur should’ve signed World Cup star Alexis Mac Allister over Yves Bissouma from Brighton over the summer.
Mac Allister, of course, has just lifted the Wo💧rld Cup with Argentina aꦬfter they overcame a resilient France side on penalties yesterday.
It will probably go down as the best final in thꦜe tournament’s history after France batt๊led back from 2-0 down to force extra-time.
Kylian Mbappe netted a bril♎liant hat-trick, while Lionel Messi bagged a brace and arguably cemented his place as the best player of all time by lifting the trophy in Qatar.
But i🦩t was Mac Allister who O’Hara says has really impressed him throughout the tournament. The Brighton star has been ever-present in Lionel Scaloni’s midfield after being benched for La Albiceleste’s 2-1 defeat to Saudi Arabia.
And O’Hara believes Spurs should have signed the 23-year-old instead of Bissouma ove💧r the summeꩲr.

O’Hara says Tottenham should’ve signed Mac Allister
“Unbelievable. What a tournament h෴e’s had, I couldn’t believe how fantastic he was,” .
“People were talking about [Luka] Modric, [Ju🔜de] Bellingham, Enzo Fernandez and [Sofyan] Amrabat, who was brilliant for Morocco. No one has really talked a𓃲bout Mac Allister and how good he was.
“He was the dri🙈ving force in Argentina’s side. He was the guy who had the energy, the spark, really good on the ball, late runs into the box.
“He was the one wᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚho would do the third man running, which you need if you’re going to do those int🅠ricate passes that [Lionel] Messi loves, he plays those little one-twos but you need a runner in behind and it was always Mac Allister.
“🎉I thought 🐷he was exceptional, what a player. I can’t believe he’s at Brighton, big clubs are going to be coming and looking for him.
“Spurs signed Bissouma, wꦇhy did we sign Bissouma when we could’ve got Mac Allister?”

Bissoܫuma hasn’t quite settled at Tottenham yet but he did put in some promising displays before the World Cup break.
Mac Allister is arguably the type of midf🌄ielder Spurs need, but the signing of Bissouma looked like an excellent deal at the time.
It’s easy to say Spurs should have targeted the Argentinian off the back of his brilliant World Cup campaign.🙈 But Bissouma looked like an absolute steal when he made the switch for just £30 million over the summer ().
Spurs have been linked with a move for Mac Allister during the World Cup, with claiming that they admire the Brighton star.
He would undoubtedly be a brilliant addition to Antonio Conte’s midfield and with five Premier League goals to h💙is name already this season, he could off🐷er something Spurs are lacking right now.
But Bissouma could yet become an important player 🌃under Conte. It’s easy to forget that he’s only been at the club for around six months.
If the 26-year-ol🃏d manages༺ to recapture the form he produced at Brighton, he will have a big role to play in Conte’s revolution in north London.
