‘I can’t answer’… £15m Tottenham player doesn’t rule out permanent January move away
Tottenham Hotspur need to make some signings for Ange Postecoglou’s thin squad in January, there’s little debate about that.
However, there may be a little more uncertainty surrounding those linked with an exit from the side in the near future.

If Eric Dier, Hugo Lloris and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are perhaps seen as names that would part with the side’s blessing, there’s not so much certainty elsewhere.
As well ongoing speculation over the future of Richarlison, Spurs also have players hoping to further their reputation whilst out on loan.
Sergio Reguilon hasn’t made much of an impact at Manchester United, and could now move to a Bundesliga club in January instead.
But it’s Joe Rodon’s future at Tottenham that has now come to attention.
The centre-back is currently making good progress whilst on loan at Leeds United, and has become integral to their promotion push.
And as a result Rodon has now been questioned over his future plans.
Sharing the update on X, journalist asked Rodon if he wanted his future settled in January.
Rodon said: “I can’t answer that question. All I can focus on is the next game & we’ll see what happens… my job is to give everything & be as successful as I possibly can with this team & this club.”
Tottenham loanee Joe Rodon refuses to rule out January departure from Ange Postecoglou’s side
Of course, many Tottenham fans may be quite keen to move Rodon on in January, a player seemingly not needed by Postecoglou.
Perhaps his summer departure on loan does now look like something of a mistake, but Spurs are better to profit from the situation now at least.

Jean-Clair Todibo is a central defender Tottenham have often been linked with ahead of the coming window.
And it does now seem as if the player would be keen to make the move despite his ongoing success in France.
Moreover, the asking price for Todibo is considerably less than Spurs have just been quoted for another one of their targets.
It’s certainly going to be an interesting January for Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham, who do need to make significant moves.
