‘I can see’… Peter Grant says he’s spotted Kyogo Furuhashi getting really frustrated with Celtic teammate recently

Celtic’s win over Feyenoord on Wednesday will have been a huge confidence booster for the team and a great tonic heading into the game against Hearts this afternoon.

With Brendan Rodgers‘ side needing three points against the capital club, they require all the players to be signing from the same hym sheet this afternoon.

But it seems that there is one that is not. Peter Grant has shared how he noticed Kyogo Furuhashi getting really annoyed with Luis Palma on Wednesday night as the Honduran failed to spot his runs.

Grant said [], “The last couple of weeks, I think, he’s had opportunities to put the delivery in and he’s not put it in.

“And I can see Oh and Kyogo getting frustrated. Whereas when he came in at first he’s put the ball in early.

“And only the last couple of games I thought he’s taking a touch or he’s made a reverse pass, just put it back in and do what you where doing.

“Kyogo’s runs the other night were excellent. But the ball wouldn’t come in quick enough and you can see him getting frustrated.”

This is not the first time Grant has highlighted this about the Celtic winger. Just a few weeks ago he saw the same problem against Hibs and it seems it’s not getting any better.

Palma will need to start taking notice of this as depsite the Honduran being excellent against Hibs that night, his failure to be in tune with his teammate could end up costing Celtic dearly in the championship run in.

Kyogo will be desperate to end his poor goalscoring run of form today but to do that he needs this teammates to be on his level.

With the return of Daizen Maeda imminent, this will be a boost for Kyogo but Palma will need to work at getting his head up to try and find Kyogo or he could be the next Celtic player to find himself on the bench.
