Fabrizio Romano shares what he now thinks will happen with Liverpool and Anthony Gordon

Liverpool remain keen on Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon and Fabrizio Romano has shared his latest information on the situation.

Gordon is on♐ of the big names doing the rounds this transfer window after a superb season last term.

Liverpool are the 🦩ones🃏 being heavily linked with Gordon. The Reds have 🃏yet to make a signing but aওre expected to press on with deals in the coming weeks.

Of course, Newcastle want to keep൲ Gordon and would demand ar🌊ound £100m to even consider selling him to the Reds.

However, despite the fee, all is not lost ౠwhen it comes to the Reds and Gordon and Fabrizio Romano ꦿhas suggested that something might just happen.

Liverpool could make Anthony Gordon their big summer signing

Speaking on hi🗹s channel about the situation ar𝔉ound Gordon and Liverpool, Romano has said that it would be no surprise at all to see the winger arrive at Anfield.

“What I can tell you is in the♛ next days I expect Liverpool to accelerate. So I expect them to enter into concrete talks to activate some options,” Romano said.

“I can confirm what I always said in here is that the appreciation in Anthony Gordon. Let me say that Liverpool appreciate Anthon🐽y Gordon a lot. They tried to sign him in June wh💎en Newcastle were in a panic.

“Now the situation is different and even more difficult for Liverpool to agree on a deal with Newcastle but♍ let me say again, there is strong appreciation fro♔m Liverpool for Gordon.

“Let me say, I would not be⭕ surprised if Liverpool decide to buy him. I’m not saying it’s going to happen because Newcastle will make it difficult. But he remains one of the players who keeps being mentioned in internal talks with the club.”

Gordon would fly at Liverpool

We have seen some impressi൩ve wide players at Anfield in the last few seasons and purely on paper, Anthon♋y Gordon looks like he’d fit in.

His speed, willingness to press and eye for a goal make him the ideal Liverpool player and despite his Everton ties, th𒁏e Anfield crowd w꧂ould love him.

Yes, £100m is a lot of money. But at the to🌺p end of the Pr🦄emier League, the best players cost the big money and it might be a price worth paying.

Liverpool eventu🔯ally need someone to step up for when Mo Salah leaves and in Gordon, they might just have that player.
