‘I always wonder’… Manager has big doubts about club signing 22-year-old Tottenham player after recent links
Former Ajax and PSV Eindhoven manager Aad de Mos has urged Feyenoord not to move for Tottenham winger Bryan Gil.
The 22-year-old playmaker has been strongly linked with a move to the Dutch giants this January, with Feyenoord eager to add a winger to their ranks this month.
And Gil has emerged as an option, with the youngster potentially set to leave Tottenham on loan again following the signing of Timo Werner.

And , De Mos has made the claim that Gil simply isn’t good enough to play for Feyenoord, especially if the playmaker can’t get a game now at Tottenham.
The Dutch manager said: “If you have to catch up in the winter, you haven’t done well in the summer. There are those panic situations again, it all comes through agents.
“That boy [Gil] is now at Tottenham. He’s a lot of fun with the ball, it’s all frivolous. I’ve seen that boy, he has certain qualities. But if you’re not good enough for Tottenham and Sevilla, I always wonder if he’s enough for Feyenoord.
Feyenoord should take a chance on Bryan Gil this January

Whilst De Mos’ concerns over Feyenoord signing Gil are legitimate, the Spanish youngster could still be an ideal signing for the Eredivisie side.
As we know, Gil is in need of regular playing time and could benefit massively from playing at a club like Feyenoord, with the Dutch league also ideal for the Tottenham winger.
Moreover, Gil himself could be tempted to make the move to Rotterdam if Feyenoord can promise the Spaniard regular playing time, something that the winger needs more than anything.
