‘I actually think’… Perry Groves now predicts if Arsenal will win the Premier League this season

Perry Groves has delivered his verdict on whether Arsenal can win the Premier League this season after going top this weekend.

A 1-0 win away to Brentford coupled with Manchester City’s draw against Liverpool means Mikel Arteta’s side have now returned to the top of the English standings for the first time this season.

Whilst Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli were criticised for their performance by Peter Crouch, the end result will be all that matters for Arsenal fans, and Groves now thinks that the Gunners can go all the way.

, the pundit made the prediction that the north London side will win the Premier League title, with Liverpool finishing in second place as City drop down into third.

Indeed, given how much Arsenal have improved defensively this season, a good argument can be made that the Gunners are better suited to go for the title despite how good Arteta’s side were last year.

Groves said about who will win the league this season: “I actually think that Arsenal will win the title, and it will be Liverpool who second with Manchester City in third.”

Arsenal can win the Premier League if key players can stay fit

With Williams Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu all getting injured at the pivotal moment of last season, it’s not a real surprise why Arsenal ultimately fell short in the Premier League title race.

The Gunners did well this summer to spend wisely on quality depth as well as the acquisition of Declan Rice, who has transformed Arsenal’s midfield into something quite unique.

With Kai Havertz also now the hero for the Gunners, the German international finally kicking on could be what takes Arsenal from potential contenders to outright favourites.

And if key players can remain fit, there’s no reason why Arsenal can’t go all the way this season, even if performances on the pitch aren’t as appealing as they were last year.
