‘Huge talent’ says there’s ‘some truth’ to speculation amid rumours Tottenham are set to sign him
Tottenham Hotspur have had a fairly quiet transfer window so far, with just one signing over the line.
Spurs have signed one of England’s best young players in Archie Gray, and chances are they’re only just getting started.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with another superb youngster, who is said to have undergone the first part of his medical for Spurs.
Now, the “huge talent” in question has admitted that there may be “some truth” to rumours linking him with Tottenham.

Yang Min-hyuk says there’s ‘some truth’ amid Tottenham rumours
The player in question is Gangwon FC winger Yang Min-hyuk, who is said to be edging towards a switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Earlier this week, Fabrizio Romano declared “here we go” on Yang to Tottenham, saying a deal has been completed, with the first part of the “huge” talent’s medical already booked.
Meanwhile, BBC Sport journalist Nizaar Kinsella reported on Thursday that the first part of the 18-year-old’s Tottenham medical had already begun in South Korea.
Yang was in action for Gangwon against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors on Friday, scoring his eighth goal of the season with a fine strike from just inside the box.
Following Gangwon’s 4-2 win over Jeonbuk, the youngster responded to the speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.
“There’s some truth to it all,” he said at the post-match press conference, as per South Korean football journalist Joel Kim.
“The transfer rumours haven’t led to any official offers yet. They can be seen as speculation. However, I believe they surfaced because there’s some truth to them.”
Tottenham strike gold in youth market once again
Yang is set to continue his development in South Korea for the remainder of the calendar year, before then being assessed at Hotspur Way mid-season.
If he develops further and continues to shine in the K-League, there’s a pretty good chance he could join up with Ange Postecoglou’s first team in 2025.
Spurs have struck gold in the talent market in recent years, signing the likes of Pape Matar Sarr, Destiny Udogie and Lucas Bergvall. Yang may well be the next top talent to arrive at N17.
