‘Huge future’… Jorginho says Arsenal have a midfielder who can reach the very top
Jorginho has been one of the world’s best midfielders over the past few years.
The Italian has won the Champions League and the European Championships, and he wasn’t too far away from a Ballon d’Or win back in 2021.
It’s fair to say that Jorginho reached the top of the game, and speaking on , the midfielder has claimed that Arsenal have another midfielder who can do the same.
Indeed, Jorginho has been full of praise for Declan Rice, claiming that he has a huge future in the game and that he can reach the top of the sport if he keeps doing what he’s doing.

The Arsenal ace spoke about the England international.
“Yes, we speak a lot. I try to help when I see something I can add to him. He’s a great player and he has a huge future in front of him. He has a great mentality as well. I think he just needs to keep doing what he’s doing now to be fair and he will reach the top,” Jorginho said.

Jorginho is right, Rice can reach the top of the game, and he’s already on his way on that front.
Let’s not forget, Rice is only playing his first season in the Champions League this term, and if it weren’t for a bit of bad luck in a penalty shootout in the Euro 2020 final, Rice would already have one of the biggest major honours in football under his belt.
Of course, there’s a huge difference between being a nearly-man and being a winner, and Rice is yet to prove that at the very top level, but, at the same time, he’s not had many opportunities to compete for the very top honours at club level.
