Huddersfield fans react to Arsenal loanee Emile Smith-Rowe’s display

A number of Huddersfield Town fans have taken to Twitter to suggest that Emile Smith-Rowe is destined for the top after the Arsenal loanee produced an outstanding display in their 2-1 win on Tuesday night.

It is almost remarkable to think that the 19-year-old started the weekend’s clash with Swansea City on the bench. He returned to the starting lineup against Bristol City and produced a masterclass.

Danny Cowley’s men put a dent in City’s promotion hopes with the victory. It was Smith-Rowe who provided the assist for Chris Willock’s opener.

And the Arsenal loanee was also the player to win the penalty that would prove to be the winner for the Terriers.

that Smith-Rowe made four key passes during the win, as well as three successful dribbles. He also deserves praise for the defensive work that he did during the game.

And the Huddersfield fans are more than happy to give the teenager that praise. Plenty have taken to social media to comment on his display.

Several have expressed how fortunate they feel to have Smith-Rowe plying his trade with them until the end of the season.

And some have insisted that he is the best player the club have had since Aaron Mooy. Others have suggested that the last time they had such an exciting prospect on their hands was when they took Ben Chilwell on loan.

It is a remarkable assessment of Smith-Rowe’s display. And it will leave plenty of Arsenal supporters feeling incredibly excited about the attacking midfielder’s future.
