Cheikhou Kouyate – 5
The makeshift right-back lazily jogged back into position and found himself tumbling over Mauro Zarate just two minutes in. Kouyate gave away a penalty and did little else in 90 minutes. Could’ve won a penalty for his side but it was a contentious call.
Jose Fonte – 6
Fonte managed the backline well while making a few decent challenges but wasn’t greatly tested.
Winston Reid – 6
Like Fonte, Reid had little to do apart from make a few tackles. The centre-back certainly has harder matches coming up, such as the Chelsea tie next week.
Aaron Cresswell – 6
The Englishman made a few decent runs down the left flank and almost got an assist. Apart from that, it was a quiet afternoon from Cresswell.
