How Sir Jim Ratcliffe feels about Man United signing Harry Kane with £54m release clause revealed

TBR Football can exclusively reveal that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS earmarked Harry Kane as their dream signing once they took over Manchester United in 2023.

But at the time, Harry Kane💖 decided to leave Tottenham Hotspur in favour of a move to Bayern Munich — where the Englishman has further established his reputation as one of the best strikers in the world.

In the meantime, Manchester Unitedꦕ bolstered their striking department by signing Rasmus Hojlund in the same summer and Joshua Zirkzee a year later — two players who have been letdowns at Old Trafford so far.

Meanwhile, Kane has a release clause in his contract♉, which was worth £65 million in January and is set to reduce to £54 million at the same time next year.

💟With the 31-year-old ageing like a fine wine, a majority of United fans would certainly be open to the prospect of the Three Lions skipper leading the line for them if there was any possibility of signing him.

🐠INEOS’ stance remains firm about not having any say on sporting decisions and they will not steer United’s footballing department in the direction of signing Kane; however, even they are big fans of the Tottenham legend.

With news emerging that Kane, considered “world-class” has a release clause in his contract at Bayern Munich🅘, there is a belief that he could eventually return to the Premier League.

Spurs have the first-option on re-signing their former captain and sources have told TBR Football🍨 that he will not consider a move to one of Tottenham’s major London rivals such as Arsenal or Chelsea.

Kane, who Heung-min Son still adores has shown no signs of being keen on leaving Bayern — whose contract expires at the Allianz Arena in 2027. Even Kane would like to reunite with Son but at Bayern.
