How much game time Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall could get at Tottenham in the coming months
Tottenham Hotspur have been busy on the transfer front this summer, bringing in a host of talented players for the present and future.
Spurs signed Archie Gray early on in the window, bringing one of England’s best young players to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Dominic Solanke and Wilson Odobert have also joined the Tottenham ranks, while Yang Min-hyuk is set to arrive at N17 next year.
In addition, Lucas Bergvall has arrived at Tottenham after they struck a deal with Djurgarden in winter, and Timo Werner has re-signed on loan.
Pre-season also saw a host of Spurs academy players – such as Mikey Moore, Will Lankshear, Alfie Devine and Jamie Donley – make names for themselves.
Factor in the likes of Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr, who have become first-team stars at a young age, and it’s clear that Tottenham are building a team for the future.

Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall backed to start ‘lots of matches’ for Tottenham
Gray and Bergvall both featured prominently in Spurs’ pre-season and they both made their competitive debuts in their Premier League opener.
On Thursday, Gold hosted a Q&A on and a fan asked him whether he saw the two youngsters starting regularly soon.
“I see them getting plenty of minutes in the coming months and starting lots of matches,” said Gold.
“They’ve been a huge success this summer and have proved in both training and the summer matches to be more than ready.
“I felt that both on their Premier League debuts on Monday night looked really sharp and comfortable.
“Don’t forget that Postecoglou has previously said how he relishes working with young players because they’re more mouldable, adaptable and often hungrier than older ones.
“Gray and Bergvall are also incredibly talented players and Postecoglou is delighted with them.”
What Solanke has said about Gray and Bergvall
Both 18-year-olds enjoyed some promising moments after coming on against Leicester, suggesting they will develop into top stars at Spurs.
After the game, Solanke admitted he was looking forward to playing alongside Gray and Bergvall, and described them as “great talents”.
He said: “They’re top players. I think they had a great pre-season from what I saw. Obviously I have been with them for a week now and they are great talents.
“There is great talent throughout the whole team so I am looking forward to playing with them for the rest of the season.”
