Celtic have reportedly set their demands for the sale of Matt O’Riley after a rumoured bid from Atalanta worth £15m was rejected.

The 23-year-old Danish international has found himself at the centre of a lot of interest from across Europe this summer after a sensational season with Celtic saw O’Riley𓆉 register 37 goal involvements in 49 appearances for the Hoops.

Celtic set £23m asking price for O’Riley amid Atalanta interest

ꦍAccording to , Celtic are asking for as much as €27m (£23m) for O’Riley, with Atalanta already offering €18m (£15m) for the former MK Dons star, a bid that has been rejected by the Hoops.

♉With Celtic’s record sale standing at Jota’s £25m move to Al-Ittihad last summer, the Hoops demanding just below that figure for O’Riley could come as a surprise to supporters given just how good the 23-year-old has been.

🐈Indeed, O’Riley starred in the UEFA Champions League last season, with top clubs in Europe likely adding the midfielder to their shortlist after the youngster’s performances in Europe under Brendan Rodgers.
