How much Arsenal are actually demanding to sell Eddie Nketiah this summer

After amassing 168 appearances for Arsenal and scoring 38 goals, it seems like Eddie Nketiah’s time in north London could be coming to a close.

Right now, Nketiahℱ is Mikel Arteta’s third choice striker, stuck behind both Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.

🥃Nketiah barely featured in the second half of last season, and having briefly tasted what it’s like to be involved with the England squad, it would be a surprise if the striker was content with his situation.

⭕Now 25-years-old, there’s only so long Nketiah can wait for another chance at Arsenal – opportunities he hasn’t necessarily taken in the past.

🔥Yes, the Englishman has delivered some excellent performances on occasion, but there hasn’t been sufficient consistency in his displays.

That being said, 🍌Marseille are interested in signing Nketiah this summer🔯, perhaps as a replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is heading to Saudi Arabia.

🦩Nketiah is said to be open to a move to join Roberto De Zerbi’s side, and it would seem unlikely that Arsenal would stand in his way.

Arsenal could sell Eddie Nketiah for less than Folarin Balogun

𓆏All that being said, after making an enquiry for the striker, French source have now shared how much it will cost Marseille to sign Nketiah this summer.

🅰Previously there have been some outrageous figures attached to the striker, with a fee of around £50m once mentioned.

💞However, this report states that Arsenal would ‘demand more than €20m’ to let Nketiah leave.

📖In pounds that equates to around £17m, likely meaning that Arsenal could be willing to accept a deal at around the £20m mark – in reference to ‘demanding more’.

Of course, that may be a surprise to some Arsenal🥀 supporters, who have been keen to see their side dig their heels in for better fees when selling players.

🐽It would be something of an eye-brow raiser if Arsenal sold Nketiah for less than Folarin Balogun – who moved to AS Monaco for around last summer.

🌟Nketiah would be leaving the club as a stronger player, and considering he reportedly is under contract until 2027, there’s no reason for Arsenal to rush a sale.

ꦍBut in a similar vein, Nketiah is thought to earn at Arsenal, and removing those wages would be a relief.

The Gunners want to sell players before they welcome new arrivals this summer, and 𒁃Arsenal are only willing to make an exception with Riccardo Calafiori.
