How Mohamed Salah is actually viewed in Saudi Arabia after Liverpool exit links
Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia for 12 months now.
The Egyptian is in the final year of his Liverpool contract, and Saudi clubs have been desperate to sign Salah.
As of right now, Salah is still a Liverpool player, and apparently, Salah is happy to stay at Anfield.
However, the Saudi links haven’t gone away, and according to Mark Ogden on ESPN, people in Saudi Arabia are desperate to see Salah come to the middle east.
How people in Saudi Arabia view Mohamed Salah
According to Ogden, Salah, alongside Paul Pogba, is the most popular player in Saudi Arabia.
“I went over to Saudi to do something on Newcastle, and I was speaking to people in Saudi Arabia, and I was told that the two biggest players in Saudi Arabia by a million miles were Paul Pogba and Mohamed Salah because they’re both practicing Muslims. I think that people need to factor in with Mo Salah that he is a huge figure in that part of the world,” Ogden said.

Mohamed Salah will end up in Saudi
It’s almost impossible to imagine a scenario where Mohamed Salah doesn’t end up in Saudi Arabia at some point.
The winger is the Saudi league’s top target, and he’s the most popular player in that part of the world.
Of course, that isn’t to say that Salah will be going over to the Pro League anytime soon.
Salah still has plenty to achieve at the top level, and he’s apparently happy to stay at Liverpool.
In three or four years time when Salah is ready to wind down, perhaps a move could come to fruition, but, right now, Salah seems to be wholly focused on playing top-level football and achieving as much as he can.
The Saudi Pro League. maybe able to tempt Salah in the future, but we’re still some way off this move happening.
