How Manchester United feel about selling Jadon Sancho to Paris Saint-Germain

Amid all of Manchester United’s impressive business this summer, Jadon Sancho’s long-term future is still yet to be firmly resolved.

Erik ten Hag has reportedly somewhat repaired his relationship with Sancho, meaning the England international has returned to first team plans.

Sancho started and played the first half of United’s 2-0 win against Glasgow Rangers on Saturday, a signal that things have changed for the better.

However, TBR Football now understands that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to test United’s new position and have submitted an enquiry for Sancho.

United and PSG have been locked in talks regarding midfielder Manuel Ugarte of late.

TBR recently shared that Ugarte was incredibly keen to join Man United this summer, but it remains to be seen if a deal will come to fruition.

Ten Hag’s team also asked about Xavi Simons earlier in the summer, although he looks to be on his way back to the Bundesliga.

PSG have been keeping tabs on Marcus Rashford’s future at Old Trafford and TBR can confirm that during recent talks the French club have asked about Sancho’s situation.

Man United no longer looking to sell Jadon Sancho amid PSG approach

As mentioned, Ten Hag has now patched up his differences with Sancho after the pair’s high-profile falling out.

And the situation has changed to the extent that United are not actively looking to sell Sancho, and definitely won’t loan him out.

PSG are now assessing the situation with Sancho but could still be tempted to make a move despite United’s stance, given their need to bolster their attacking options.

TBR previously confirmed that United wanted around £40m to let Sancho leave permanently – perhaps a figure that will now increase.

This summer the French Champions have already lost Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid and although they are in talks with Napoli over a deal for Victor Osimhen, they are willing to allow the likes of Goncalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani to depart.

Manchester United fans may be divided on what the club should decide if a bid were to arrive from PSG for Sancho at the figures mentioned.

At 24-years-old, Sancho still has a ton of potential to fulfil.

But after impressively securing deals for Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, United supporters may have faith that the club could better reinvest those funds towards a fresh start.
